Track global Radio Spins

Apple Music Partner Program members have exclusive access to our Radio Spins web tool. In addition to the data that’s offered via our Radio Spins API, our web dashboard allows you to search for any song in the Apple Music catalog or one of our over 40,000 tracked terrestrial and digital radio stations in more than 200 countries and regions around the world to view detailed Radio Spins insights. Easily see which radio stations are giving artists the most airtime, which songs receive the most plays, and which artists are on the rise on the airwaves. 

When you sign in to Radio Spins, you will see data from the last seven days by default. Use the filters at the top of the page to filter radio spins by location or daypart, and click the button on the top right to change the date range.

Use the search bar at the top of the dashboard to look up data for a specific song or radio station. When searching by a specific station, include key details, such as radio frequency or station name. 

Watchlist

Keep a close eye on your priority songs by adding them to your Watchlist. The Watchlist allows you to quickly access and monitor radio plays from the biggest songs, or follow local and global trends from the next up-and-coming act.

If you’re curious about the overall performance of a specific song, search for or click on that song from an artist’s catalog to see a detailed view of radio spins by trend, specific station, and location. The trends graph allows you to view radio spins trends by time of day, as well as location around the globe by country, region, and city. This granular view of a song’s radio data can help inform important decisions about tour locations and marketing conversations with radio stations.

Station details

Look up a specific radio station to see what songs and artists they’re spinning the most, and when. The date range and daypart filter let you focus in on airplay trends for specific times of day over a certain period of time. 

Tracking radio spins on a regional station can help you uncover new insights that inform a variety of promotional strategies: 

  • New music promotion. Make more targeted pitches for airplay and better strategize your promotions for new music.
  • Market artists by genre. See which artists are getting the most spins across the globe to target airtime for similar artists.
  • Plan tour stops. Find out where your artist is emerging and trending to better plan the ideal locations for their next tour.
